The Holiness and Unity of the Lord are tied together. Not only is the LORD Holy, but he is the Holy One. Throughout the Old Testament, God is called Holy, and the Holy One. The Messiah is shown to be none other than God when King David prophecies that "thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption." (Psalms 16:10)
In the New Testament, Jesus is called the holy child, God is called the Holy Father, and the Spirit of Christ is called the Holy Ghost. The scriptures go even further to say "be holy, for I am holy" (Leviticus 11:45, I Peter 1:16) and "For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy:" (Romans 11:16). By the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God's Holy Spirit becomes our own, and we are united with the Holy One.
