He said, "Daddy will you marry me?" I said, "By no means." That's my own son. You think that don't cut me to the core when I packed him in my arms and done everything I could do, and I've been both father and mother to him? You think that don't kill me to say that? But it's the truth. Certainly. My boy setting here listening at… My daughter-in-law and my little grandson setting right here now… But I tell him it's wrong (See?), because I've got to. I'm duty bound to that Word.

And I say, '''you got married by a magistrate? You should've been married by the church, by the minister.''' That's the decent thing to do for a Christian. But being that you have already made that promise, and vow, and been married twenty-one years ago, I think it's all right. You say, "Well I…" The question might be, "Should I come and be married again?" If you wish to. Don't have nothing in your mind that bothers your faith, 'cause if anything's there, you can't go no further than right there; you stop right there. Billy Paul Branham at Eagle Rock. He's now almost 80, yet Los Angeles is still standing.

Billy Paul Branham was born in 1935 to William and Hope Branham. Billy Paul's mother and his younger sister Sharon died in 1937, and his attachment and unique relationship with his father formed in the lonely years that followed. Billy Paul Branham said that he met the Angel of the Lord that spoke with his father, and thousands of miracles as he accompanied him through campaigns across the United States, Canada, Africa, and India.

In a book written by Pearry Green called "The Acts of the Prophet", William Branham prophesied that Billy Paul "wouldn't be an old man until sharks will swim right where we are standing", which was in front of the May Company in downtown Los Angeles. Billy Paul is now almost 80, but Los Angeles is still standing.

Billy Paul Branham still travels, speaking of the great things that he witnessed, and is the vice-president of Voice of God Recordings in Jeffersonville, Indiana, whose goal is to distribute the recorded sermons of William Branham. The assets of this corporation at the end of 2012 were in excess of $100 Million USD.

The following testimonies are excerpts (some condensed) from Billy Paul Branham's testimony in 1989 at Cloverdale Bibleway. For copies of this or other testimonies of Billy Paul Branham, contact either Voice of God Recordings, Inc. or Cloverdale Bibleway.

    Billy Paul's first marriage

In Germany, they brought a blind girl up to, and he said, "Satan has caused this, but Jesus is going to make you well." He pulled her to him, and prayed for the girl. I was 18 or 19, he said, "Lord Jesus, give this little child back her sight." I watched her eyes come open. Then she grabbed hold of my Dad's tie, like this. She said to the interpreter, "What color is that?"

    Healing of a Tumor

One time in Shreveport Louisiana, I'll never forget it, there was a woman who had a tumor. And I think they estimate...it weighed about 50 pounds. ...He stood there and I seen him pray for that, and I was just a young boy, and I brought that woman up to him.

And I know this sounds jokingly, but I saw the power of God come upon that woman. She had a tumor out like this. Brother Branham laid his hands upon her and asked that demon to leave her. Like that. And that woman raised her hands, and praised God. And she had a belt and it fell off, and the tumor was completely disappeared and gone.

That's the God that we are talking about tonight. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

    Seeing the Angel

My Dad's brother Donny and I was there, sleeping. About 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning, I'll never forget. He woke me up, and he had a pillow across my face. And he shook me. He said "Paul?"

    I said "Yes Daddy?"

...He says, "The Angel of the Lord said 'you can wake up Billy'"

I asked Daddy one time, I said "Why, Daddy, did that happen?"

He said, "Because God called you to work with me, son."

He said, "When Daddy takes the pillow from your face," He said "You know where the wash basin is?"

    I said, "Sure,"

He said, "You look over there in that corner", he says, "He'll be standing there."

I was just about this boys size, right here. And I'm ashamed to say what I am going to say, but I want to be honest with you. I was thinking of an angel, you know something with wings, you know, flying. Because I hadn't listened close enough. But I am a witness to you here...that when he took that pillow from my face, there stood a man, just like that man standing right there. With his arm's folded, just like that man standing there. He looked at me like that, He scared me to death.

And I grabbed my daddy, and he said, "He won't bother you". He said, "He won't bother you, son."

But I am a witness to you tonight. It went from a form like that man there, into a mist, and went out of the room. From that time on, God bear me witness tonight, I could always tell you when he come into the meetings.

    Backsliding, Healing, and Restoration

Billy Paul eventually started hanging around the wrong crowd, and was enticed by the fun and rock and roll of his generation. One morning, while washing his car, William Branham said to his son, "Do you want me to tell you where you were last night?"
    Billy Paul said, "No sir."
Knowing by prophecy the activities that his son was involved in, William Branham said, "I can’t have you working at the meetings any more."
Billy left home and started gambling, smoking, and drinking until his health failed him, and his friends left him. Gangrene had set into his intestines and the doctor ordered a colostomy - even though Billy Paul was still in his teens. Unable to reach his father, he prayed that he would come find his son. The morning of the operation, Billy Paul felt his father's hand on his shoulder.
William Branham said, "You remember when God let you see the angel? I was in mountains in Colorado, and the same Angel said "Get to Billy right away! He is in trouble." He said, "I’m not going to pray for you. But, if you are ready to give your heart to Jesus, I believe he will heal you." The doctor checked Billy Paul one more time, and found that the internal bleeding had stopped. The operation was canceled, and Billy Paul began a long rough road back to health and fellowship until he finally received the Holy Spirit as promised in the Bible, and as preached by his father.

    Quotes of William Branham

The question was asked the other day, "Was a annulment—annulment—an annulment the same as a divorce?" See? When you ask me those questions, friend, you don't know what that does to me. I've got many friends setting here that's married two or three times. Did you realize I'm talking to my own son, Billy Paul? Would I spare Billy Paul? No, indeedy.

Billy Paul got married to some little girl, and come up, and said, "Daddy, I'm going to get married." I was washing my car; I said, "Butt your head against the wall," just kept on washing my car like that.

He said, "I'm going to get married." I said, "Oh, go on," just kept on like that. He goes around and tells his mother, and his mother laughed at him. You know what he done? Run off with some little kid still in common school and got married.

We annulled the wedding, the father of this girl and myself. We annulled the wedding, but he was married just the same. He's my boy setting here listening at me now. That's exactly. He come to me with the girl that he lives with now, my daughter-in-law. My little grandson…

He said, "Daddy will you marry me?" I said, "By no means." That's my own son. But it's the truth. Certainly. My boy setting here listening at… My daughter-in-law and my little grandson setting right here now… But I tell him it's wrong (See?), because I've got to.
