Some attributes of God do not relate to a name, but to a physical manifestation. While the Spirit of the Lord may choose to work through certain people, He sometimes works and appears alone.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:2)
